Read Mark 13: 1-11
Everything we have been given is wonderful not just stones and buildings but life. As we are touched by death and illness we still don't seem to grasp the wonder of it all. Are we being led astray? Are the wars and earthquakes which result in homelessness, anguish, hunger & sorrow an omen from this passage? Or, have we become immune to what is happening around us so we are not alarmed? Do we spread the gospel like Jesus asked the disciples to do? Are we still in the beginning of the birth-pangs or have we progressed to the delivery? For myself I believe I have progressed passed the delivery, to my infant stage. Eager to learn.
Prayer
Lord helps me your infant child to progress past the infant stage and learn to walk like you each day. To be more in tuned with the needs of all the people you have created, to pray daily for all who suffer and to respond to these teachings.
